Dear Mr Shields,
Thank-you very much for the ‘capital listener’ it was most interesting and cheery to have an English magazine to read, I daresay you must be missing not having Helen and Dorothy at home but it is lovely to have them here and I’m very sorry they’re going home so soon. It’s turned out quite a nice day and we’ve bathed in the lake and had lunch, now we’re going onto Lindenhoff the [???] at Eltar and Oberammergau love from Both Helen.
