Dear Auntie, it’s just above this weir that we saw [???] and you can see the boiling effect in the water on the other side of this bridge. Aren’t the postcards all lovely? I meant to get some at the [???] on Tuesday but forgot, so I’ll need to get them the next time we go. I’ve been reading that the lake is 13 miles long and 3 miles across at it’s widest parts so you can see it’s a fair size building at the back. This view is a church and that’s an island in the river on the left side. Our German is getting on not so badly, we can understand infinitely better than we can speak it and I seem to be speaking more French than anything else. With Best Love from Helen.
