postcards and photos from the early-mid 1900s

Weimar, Schillerhaus

I’m spending all of today in Weimar and made the awful discovery on arrival that our tickets here were only single and not return as we thought having paid 3.70 each for them so this is going to be a much more expensive day than we intended it to be. We’ve already been in the Schiller house this is the outside of it and the palace were the widow of the Prince of Saxe-Weimar used to stay. We’re now having lunch in a restaurant and one afterwards going to the Zachs[???]  house and a resident’s palace in some park outside the town. It’s a pensions[???] day and we don’t have to go home until 7.30 from here. [???] sends her greetings and says to tell you I’m being a good [???] girl [???] her looking after me. Will send another pc later today, Love Helen.
